Brian performing Teo Torriate with Brian May Band in Germany (x)

“When I’m gone
No need to wonder if I ever think of you
The same moon shines
The same wind blows

For both of us, and time is but a paper moon…
Be not gone”

This song is so underrated and he made me cry, again. Oh Brian.

Post-Wisdom Teeth Surgery, Man Waxes Philopsohic on Brian May

“Save the badgers, dude”

“What if you could get Brian May to send you a porcupine?”
“Or he could send me a signed BMG… guitar…”
“The culling… of the badgers… the farmers didn’t understand, man… Vaccination is gonna work…”

“Brian May knows what the fuck he’s talking about.”

I don’t know why this never gained traction in the Queen fandom. This just made me smile. Probably because I remember being post-op for my wisdom teeth and I was nowhere near this endearing.

I know Brian May has listed Eric Clapton as one of his heroes/influences multiple times.

It was on MTV Unplugged in 1992 that Eric Clapton introduced the acoustic version of Layla.

Did Clapton’s rearrangement of Layla inspire Brian May to do the acoustic version of Tie Your Mother Down on MTV Unplugged in 1998?

Because if it did, I have even more reason to love the acoustic version of Layla.

I like the acoustic version of Layla better than the original and I like the acoustic version of Tie Your Mother Down better than the original.

I wish the acoustic Tie Your Mother Down was cut and released as a single. 🥺

The Temptations - My Girl (Shebang) Oh my god,…
Eddie’s eye roll at 0:38.

omg YES

Like I will bare-hand fight anyone who says that David and Eddie didn’t love each other to itty bitty pieces but I will also laugh in the face of anyone who says that they didn’t want to (and probably actually did) also beat each other’s asses on the regular?????

Eddie was KING of pissed off/murderous facial expressions and YES his eye roll at 0:38

I actually cackled out loud at Eddie’s eye roll. They’re all obviously pissed off but then Eddie really made it obvious what was going on.

I also feel like Eddie had no problem confronting David but whenever any of the other guys wanted to bad mouth his behavior or antics he wouldn’t tolerate it. One of those, “it’s only okay when I say it” things because they were so close like that.

I mean, on Unsung: Eddie Kendricks, his daughter said that Eddie and David were practically blood brothers, and Eddie took it so, so hard when David passed. He never truly recovered.

Beautiful Tony Nominee Jarrod Spector Never Hooks Up with Co-Stars (Except That One Time) (x)

Beautiful Tony nominee Jarrod Spector reveals his secret talent, the rudest thing said to him at a stage door and what happened that time he was not professional.

Poor Jarrod.

It’s okay, you’ll always be MY 1st favorite Frankie, Jarrod.

(I feel like that was one of those things that was meant to be a compliment but came out so backhanded you want to ask, “WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?”)

Ain’t it Fun | Paramore

I’ve been subjected to the gospel bridge/tag of this song mercilessly for the past week because that’s the only part my mom remembers.  But she loves this song and the message behind it.

I’m actually obsessed with how Paramore did pop punk fused with a new jack swing bass line (which everyone knows is my favorite genre) and a gospel bridge. And I love the Louise Brooks-inspired bob on Hayley Williams.  Adorable.  Makes her damaged hair look thicker/healthier, and the short bangs make it alternative while still more “mature.”

And the leather jacket over the white button down Oxford? Classic.  I love it.

I was never a Paramore fan, and I still can’t say I like Hayley Williams’s voice, but Paramore’s self-titled era… I’m digging it.  (Especially when it comes with a fun song about how much adulthood sucks.)
